About

Dr Milie Nwoye

I’m an obstetrician-gynaecologist, reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist, writer and educator working in Belgium.

I trained at Northwestern University Medical School and Boston Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine at UZ Brussel. I am board-certified in the United States and Belgium and founded Menopause Longevity Brussels, a private practice for women navigating midlife.

My work brings rigorous medicine into conversation with women’s lived experience. I am particularly interested in menopause, PMS and PMDD, fertility, healthy ageing—and in saying “we do not know” when the science does not justify a simpler answer.

Menopause Is Shit

Menopause is shit. The information shouldn’t be.

Honest, evidence-led writing on menopause, health, identity and the book taking shape—sent occasionally, never noisily.
